Climate Change Report: Dr. Axel Timmermann

Dr. Axel Timmermann is a UH Manoa professor of oceanography and the leader of the UH Manoa International Pacific Research Center’s paleoclimate research unit. Since 2010, he has been working as a lead author of a chapter on paleoclimate in the (IPCC) Fifth Assessment Report.

Mockumentary “Foliage” screening at HIFF: Adam Simon

Adam Simon is a senior at Mid-Pac Institute whose film “Foliage: Roots of the Tree Barrel,” will be shown at the Hawaii International Film Festival at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, Oct. 19.

David Tumilowicz is director of business engagement at Kaiser Permanente and this year's chair of the 19th Annual Men's March Against Domestic Violence. He serves as a board member for a handful of organizations and was a 2010 Pacific Century Fellow.

Historic Buildings Tour: Mike Gushard

Mike Gushard is an architectural historian and a member of the Docomomo US Hawai‘i Chapter.  The group will lead a walking tour of 12 buildings along Kapi‘olani Boulevard this Saturday.
